Features and performance
The 35W double-ball motor is built for thick and dense coats and everyday tangles. The 4500mAh battery provides up to five hours cordless and recharges in around 3.5 hours using the included USB cable. The clipper cannot be used while charging.
Grooming tips for a safer, smoother finish
Begin with a clean, dry, thoroughly brushed coat. Keep the blade parallel to the skin, use gentle consistent pressure and smooth strokes, and regularly check blade temperature. Work with coat growth for a comfortable even trim; use scissors for final detailing where appropriate.
Blade and clipper care
Inspect blades before use. After grooming, brush away loose hair, wipe the clipper body and store it somewhere dry. Oil the blade regularly, replace or professionally sharpen dull blades, and do not keep running the clipper if a struggling blade is pulling the coat.
Can it handle thick or matted coats?
Yes for thick coats, ordinary tangles and lighter matting. It is not the right tool for severe pelting. Deal with heavy matting safely first—or ask a professional groomer—then use the D-Series for the reset or finish.
Should I buy fixed blades or guard combs first?
For regular body clipping, start with the 5F or the full D-Series blade set. For longer, softer finishes on brushed-out coats, add the eight-piece guard comb set. Many frequent groomers eventually use both.
